The Osteopathology Service receives specimens from veterinary surgeons, clinicians, radiologists and pathologists working in private practices, university veterinary teaching hospitals, and state diagnostic laboratories in this country and abroad. 

Dr. Roy Pool is the director of the Osteopathology Service and is currently a clinical professor in the Department of Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Pool received his PhD in Veterinary Pathology from UC Davis.  He has many years of experience in osteopathology, is well published and is one of the foremost osteopathologists in this country.
