This symposium is dedicated to the international impact Dr. Womack has had in the field of comparative animal genomics. Scientists from around the world will gather to celebrate his science, teaching and collaboration through a series of seminars by his colleagues and former students on the occasion of his eighth anniversary of being elected to the National Academy of Science.
