facility is located in Room 214 of the Veterinary Medical Administration

The histology laboratory is a full service histopathology facility
which is directed by a faculty member with a staff of 3 full-time
technicians. In addition to offering routine tissue processing, sectioning
and staining, a full range of special stains for diagnostic and research
needs are available.
The immunohistochemical laboratory offers immunostaining for a variety
of normal and tumor antigens as well as supporting the research needs
of the faculty and staff of the university. Contact Dr. Ambrus for information

Tissue samples may also be submitted for frozen sectioning and plastic
embedding.
In the near future, enzyme histochemistry and in-situ PCR will be available.
